Painfully abiding a personally unwelcomed silence
Broken only by scattered screams of my discontent
Outside a shrieking world withers and wanes
Warring wearily with the encroaching inevitable
Ignorance biting an inhibitive gash into my tongue
Failing to emerge from the depths of inefficacy
The urge anew beckons with a mighty roar
An unmuzzled voice begins a quiet murmur
Squelched no longer, building to a crescendo
Veils fall, the vital luminescence beams bright
A vocal reprieve displaces the resounding silence
Beginning the profound dance of words and meaning
